Roland has added native AAX plug-in support to its Roland Cloud on-demand virtual musical instrument service, allowing integration of virtual instruments with Avid Pro Tools.
With AAX plug-in support offered for all Roland Cloud virtual instruments, users of Pro Tools and Pro Tools Ultimate have access to virtual replicas of legendary synthesisers, including the highly sought-after Roland Jupiter-8, Juno-106 and SH-101, the genre-defining TR-808 and TR-909 Software Rhythm Composers, and the digital D-50, in addition to new sounds from the Sysytem-8 and Flavr series, and acoustic offerings from the Tera Guitar and Tera Piano.
