Gerko Arends: Eurotruss

Eurotruss BV has appointed Gerko Arends as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 April 2023.

CCO Frank Schrage, COO Gerko Arends, CEO Martin KuyperArends has extensive experience in leadership, project management and business development in the aluminium welding industry, demonstrating the qualities deemed necessary to assume leadership of the Eurotruss daily operations.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall business operations of the Eurotruss HQ in Leeuwarden, THE Netherlands, and will work with CEO Martyn Kuyper, CCO Frank Schrage and the Management Team at Eurotruss to implement the strategic vision and values of the firm. He will also be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and overseeing Eurotruss’ product- and manufacturing strategy across all the business units within the Eurotruss Group.

During his earlier ten-year career at Altrex, Arends gathered experience in the development of a state-of-the-art production facility with a skilled team of professionals.
