Italian pro audio solutions company and manufacturer of laboratory-grade ET-range of electronic turntables for test and measurement in electroacoustics and waves propagation, Outline, has launched ET Controller, new control software that supersedes ET Commander.
ET Controller rewards users in the industrial and scientific communities with improvements over its predecessor, supporting workflows in users’ preferred environment (macOS or Windows) as a cross-platform-engineered application.
A new User Interface now sports a contemporary colour palette, along with functions' and controls' logic aligned with the User Experience on the hardware device front panel: switching from display to real-life (and back) now happens seamlessly.
An efficiency upgrade targeted specifically at multi-user working environments, for structured measurement activities means that ET Controller now handles Macro Libraries in form of external files, for accessing pre-arranged routines and/or journalled applications as such process files. These can now be stored on a shared repository, consistency in the ET devices; behaviour can be ensured even when different operators from different departments employ the full complement of turntables across lab facilities.
