Available for AAX32 and AAX64, VST3, VST2, AU, RTAS, OS-X and Windows (32- and 64-bit) formats, the Eisos AirEQ plug-in promises transparent and precise sound, zero-delay processing for music mastering, mixing and postproduction.

Uniquely, it offers a progressive Character parameter, which changes the shape of the equalisation cfrom the smooth Water curve to the focused Fire curve. Addressing the resonance of each band, Water provides the smoothest sound for transparency while Fire aims to deliver punch and impact for precision EQ.

Additionally, the Air and Earth functions adjust high and low frequencies – Earth boosts the very low end of a mix while Air offers smooth high-frequency adjustment.

According to Eiosis founder and CEO Fabrice Gabriel, AirEQ has been designed ‘to fasten the workflow of mixing engineers, so they can reach quickly, and intuitively, the sound they have in their mind. The musical Q/Gain adjustment, along the Strength behaviour, used with the ultra-musical analyser, is the perfect combination of listening, intuition and analysis’.

It is also possible to hide the analyser in an ‘ears-only mode’, and advanced options provide further modification of the Q for per-band Character, rename bands, assign each band to L/R/Mid/Side, and to class bands by frequency.

AirEQ requires an iLok 2 dongle to run.
