Lewitt has updated the Space Replicator plug-in for mixing in virtual studios and mix translation checks.
Reflecting community feedback, Space Replicator 2.0 offers the ability to tailor the listening experience precisely to individual needs, including adjustable ambience and EQ. The update also gives access to the ideal mixing room designed according to the official standards of the European Broadcasting Union, a new Analytic space, and new headphone simulations, including common mixing headphone models.

New to Space Replicator 2.0 are standalone functionality (no DAW required); overall audio quality and performance update and zero-latency performance; the ability to shape each room to taste with per-room EQ and adjustable room ambience; tuning of overall output sound with new output EQ; compensation for uneven headphones or hearing with the balance slider; and saving of favourite set-ups as user presets. There are also new rooms including the ideal mixing room according to the official European Broadcasting Union standards and an analytic room with ideal loudspeakers for critical listening.
New headphone simulations include H-M50x (Audio-Technica), H-770 (beyerdynamic) and H-7506 (Sony).
With this update, Essential users get access to personalised binaural profiles for a more accurate stereo experience. Plus, Essential users get a free new acoustic space – the living room with smartphones and laptops as playback systems. The Space Replicator Essential licence is included in the software package of the Lewitt Connect audio interfaces.
Space Replicator is available for €99/US$99 and Space Replicator Essential for €49/US$49, and is a free update for all existing users.
