The Vertigo Sound VSM-2 is a fully analogue mix and mastering unit, offering MS, blending and two coloration generators.
The 2U-high processor is available in ‘basic’ and ‘full’ versions. The basic version comes without harmonic generators, claiming an ‘all-in-one’ solution to mastering duties, without the need for a mastering consoles switching devices, monitor controllers or MS en/de-coders.
The Mix Satellite basic version can be updated to the full version at any time. Behind its panel, the basic version is prefitted with the connectors and supply voltages necessary for upgrading. All drillings and scales are also hidden beneath the anodised orange cover plate, allowing the Vertigo Sound workshop to readily convert basic to full versions of the Mix Satellite VSM-2.
