Slate Digital and music producer Scott Storch have announced the Storch Filter music production plug-in, conbining effects, an onboard autofilter and professional presets curated by Storch.
Scott Storch’s musical legacy spans nearly three decades, beginning with time as keyboard player for the Roots and his subsequent move into as music production. Inspired by his approach to music making and impressive track record, Slate Digital approached him to collaborate on a creative audio FX plug-in. The result is Storch Filter, an intuitive modern filter plug-in featuring five built-in effects, an onboard autofilter and professionally crafted presets, including a number created by Storch.

Storch Filter’s FX rack offers reverb, chorus, saturation, stereo spreader and phaser. These five effect modules are tied to the plug-in’s cut-off and resonance controls, so the more the signal is adjusted, the more pronounced the selected effect(s). There’s also an FX Boost slider that can be used to enhance the effect of the selected modules on the signal. All can be manipulated with a single automation lane streamlining a production and session.
