CrumplePop’s RustleRemover AI 2 is a plug-in processor for removing lapel microphone noise from recorded audio.

RustleRemover AI 2 intelligently targets and removes only lav mic rustle noise, leaving the voice intact.
‘Even for an experienced audio engineer, lav mic rustle noise during speech is extremely difficult to remove. Conventional audio software tools are simply not designed for this type of noise cancellation. RustleRemover AI 2 uses AI to get rid of this noise automatically.’
The plug-in features automatic identification and removal of lavalier microphone noise using advanced AI with real-time playback. The simple, easy to use, interface centers on a single Strength control, which is supported by Low, Mid and High threshold parameter controls. Bargraph VU meters offer a clear indication of both input and output audio levels, with control over the output level.
Custom presets can be created to allow sharing between team members and moving projects between different platforms.
Supported DAW host platforms include Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve, Logic Pro and GarageBand.
The plug-in requires Mac with Intel Core 2 duo processor or better with 2GB RAM (macOS v11.5.1 or better), and is optimised for Apple Silicon.
