Waves Audio OVox update

Waves Ovox Audio Vocal ReSynthesis plug-in Waves Audio has updated its OVox Vocal ReSynthesis plug-in with a new Midi Out feature, NKS compatibility with Native Instruments controllers, SoundGrid real-time compatibility and new presets.

OVox’s new Midi Out feature enables any virtual instrument (Waves or other manufacturer) be played using the voice in real time. OVox will convert voice to Midi, then send the Midi stream to the instrument. Note Mapper can be used to quantise Midi to scale or to generate chord progressions easily. The other instrument can also be returned to OVox as a carrier, allowing the use of the OVox formant filter to modulate it.

The OVox update also adds 250 new presets, including 150 artist presets from the music producers of Bon Iver, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Cardi B and others. In addition, OVox is now NKS-ready for Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol and Maschine, and is now SoundGrid-compatible for real-time performance with a SoundGrid system.
