The successor to the On-Air broadcast console from Stagetec shares little more than its name, having been redeveloped from the ground up and based on the latest technologies. Now it is a modular console designed specifically for the needs of modern radio, theatre, to A/V and broadcast production environments alongside several launches from the German brand.
The On-Air console boasts a compact design with flexible control options either via onboard hardware and touchscreen controls or via a browser-based interface for remote operation. With native IP integration, PoE operation, and seamless set-up and workflow, On-Air is for space-constrained installations, self-operated set-ups, and centralised control rooms whether in studios, OB vans or decentralised production environments.
With NEX:T axio, Stagetec is presenting a future-proof, extendable IP-based audio I/O and processing platform alongside its Nexus system. Designed both for a smooth transition into IP workflows and for fully networked infrastructures, the compact system combines world-class audio quality across analogue and digital formats, and includes an integrated four-way audio split, allowing Avatus, as well as third-party consoles, to access signals simultaneously without external splitters. Compatibility with Dante, AES67 and ST 2110-30 facilitates integration into existing set-ups and flexible scaling. Centralised, browser-based control via Stagenet Embedded on the device, simplifies routing, monitoring, and presets – locally or remotely – and, in many cases, removes the need for external control software.
With NEX:T core, Stagetec is launching a software-defined audio processor that fully virtualises signal processing, routing, and DSP – enabling maximum flexibility while maintaining consistently high audio quality. Free from hardware limitations, functions such as EQ, compression or mix-minus can be freely configured and updated remotely as needed. The platform integrates into AES67 and ST 2110 infrastructures with low latency, high scalability and triple network redundancy. For broadcasters, postproduction facilities, and fixed installations alike, NEX:T core provides a future-proof, efficient solution for modern audio workflows of any scale.
With Stagenet, Stagetec introduces a cross-platform, centralised, browser-based control system that consolidates complex audio and video workflows into a single intuitive interface – without switching tools or disrupting operational continuity. Whether routing, monitoring, mixing or controlling devices and parameters; all functions are intelligently networked and manageable in real time, providing clarity and operational efficiency. With automatic device discovery, topology visualisation, and role-based user management among its features, Stagenet provided an intuitive interface equally suited to operators and system engineers. The platform supports various open standards including NMOS, ST 2110, AES67, and Dante, turning heterogeneous networks into cohesive, controllable systems.
