Billing it as ‘the next logical step’ in the UI/UX refresh that began with Pyramix 15 and Aneman 2, Merging Technologies has announced the release of Ovation 11, the latest iteration of its audio and events sequencer, targeting applications in theme parks, live broadcast, theatres, opera houses, museums and immersive experience installations.
The interface redesigned is promised to feel more fluid, modern and visually engaging while staying true to professional workflows. Full 4K graphics support ensures clear visuals on high-resolution displays, while newly rounded edges and a cleaner layout offer a more inviting, less cluttered working environment.
The revamped mixer is a fully customisable environment allowing users to tailor bus layouts, channel strips and aux sends. Signal flow is also easier to understand at a glance, with enhanced visual clarity. Key tools such as the primary EQ and dynamics are now visually integratesd into the channel strips. The redesigned panners offers a choice of a single-panel top view or a dual-panel layout that includes both top and rear perspectives.
Ovation users with an active ASM (Annual Software Maintenance) are receiving their Ovation 11 licences automatically.
