Claiming that the LCT 240 Pro pressure gradient condenser microphone has ‘advanced from an initial insider tip to a bestseller’, Lewitt is now offering it as a vocal bundle with a microphone shockmount and a magnetic pop filter, for vocals, podcasts and streaming.
Lewitt has tailored the high-end response of the LCT 240 Pro to help make a voice sit a mix with clarity and articulation. The manufacturer dubs this ‘Record-Ready sound’.
Beyond enhancing voice recordings, the Record-Ready sound also flatters acoustic instruments such as guitar and piano. ‘With the LCT 240 Pro you can capture all the details of your voice or instrument without the background noise thanks to its excellent rear rejection, which works more efficiently than many higher priced studio mics,’ the company says.
The new LCT 240 Pro vocal set comes with a shockmount to protect the signal from rumble and a pop filter that protects the capsule from plosives during vocal recording. The pop filter attaches magnetically to the shockmount, and doesn’t cover the user’s face when in front of a camera or recording vocals.
