Billed the’ evolution’ of its hybrid XLR/USB dynamic microphone, Shure has announced the MV7+ Podcast Microphone, offering a sleeker design and software upgrades.
Intended for streamers, podcasters and musicians, the MV7+ employs Shure’s Voice Isolation Technology, limiting background noise pickup, and incorporates onboard DSP to offer Auto Level Mode, a digital ‘popper stopper’ for plosive control, real-time de-noiser and adjustable reverb. There is also a full-touch LED live meter display and numerous customisation options.
The MV7+ integrates with the free Motiv Mix Desktop app – Shure’s latest Motiv software interface – which supports the ability to configure all aspects of the MV7+. The software offers multitrack recording and routing to support users with a greater control of live streaming and recordings.
