Electro-Voice has made two additions to its ZLX series of portable powered PA speakers – the ZLX-12BT (12-inch two-way) and ZLX-15BT (15-inch two-way) are both Bluetooth-equipped for audio streaming from any mobile device.
The BT models combine the components, coverage and clarity of the standard ZLX models with Bluetooth technology to deliver low-noise, high-fidelity streaming for music playback or accompaniment. Both models share features with the standard ZLX models, including QuickSmart DSP processing for easy set-up via four presets, sub/top system-match, two-band EQ, five user-programmable presets, visual monitoring of limiter status, input level control and meters, and master volume control to optimize gain structure – all via a single-knob controller with LCD.
The enclosures use high-efficiency 1kW class-D power amplifiers delivering up to 127dB peak SPL using transducers designed and engineered by EV. Additionally, proprietary Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) waveguide design providing precise and consistent coverage, minimal distortion, and maximized acoustical loading.
The three-handle design integrated into a rugged composite enclosure gives an optimal combination of portability and durability.
