B&C Speakers has announced the DE52, the latest addition to the loudspeaker driver specialist’s catalogue aimed at high-performance, value orientated loudspeaker enclosures.
The ferrite magnet DE52 features a copper clad aluminium wire voice coil mounted on a new high-temperature polymer diaphragm. The phase plug is specifically optimised for the DE52 diaphragm.
‘Our goal here was to fill the gap between small and large-diaphragm highfrrequency drivers, offering excellent value for point source applications,’ says B&C Speakers Chief Technology Officer, Alessandro Pancani. ‘The 2-inch diameter diaphragm DE52 offers excellent performance in a 1.4-inch exit, wide response driver.’
