Stage/IEM Monitors

beyerdynamic has announced the DT 30 IE in-ear monitor, ‘engineered for the demands of real stage environments’.

DT 30 IE in-ear monitorBuilt to support the transition from floor wedges to in-ear monitoring set-ups, the DT 30 IE sits alongside the reference-class DT 70 IE Series introduced in 2025, marking beyerdynamic’s first step into the in-ear monitor space.

Where the DT 70 IE models offer instrument-specific sound tuning, the DT 30 IE is offered as a versatile all-rounder for musicians who want reliable, balanced monitoring for any instrument.

Designed for real monitoring rather than casual listening, the DT 30 IE uses an 11mm dynamic driver with a 5Hz to 20kHz frequency response, with up to 39dB of passive isolation. At 2.7g per side and significantly slimmer than many multi-driver designs.

With IP54-rated protection against dust and water splashes, the DT 30 IE performs regardless of conditions, while the Kevlar-reinforced detachable cable minimises handling noise across a full set and can be swapped out via the MMCX connector system when needed. Gold-plated connectors and an integrated memory wire keep everything locked in place gig after gig.

Three pairs of silicone ear tips (S, M, L) and three pairs of foam ear tips (S, M, L) are included.

The DT 30 IE are available for US$159.99 through the beyerdymanic website and authorised retailers. Each pair includes a 1.4 m Kevlar-reinforced detachable cable with MMCX connector and 3.5mm three-pole plug, three pairs of silicone ear tips (S, M, L), three pairs of foam ear tips (S, M, L), an additional set of foam cerumen filters and a carrying case.
