Focusrite is expanding Focusrite Control 2 compatibility to Scarlett 3rd Gen, Clarett+, Clarett USB, and select Scarlett 2nd Gen USB audio interfaces – specifically the 6i6, 18i8, and 18i20.
Focusrite Control 2 is a comprehensive app for controlling Focusrite audio interfaces from a computer. It offers greater functionality and intuitive operation than Focusrite Control, with an overhauled user interface and mixer design.
Clearer metering makes it easier to set and monitor signal level. Intuitive routing makes setup configuration faster. Multi-interface control lets users switch between multiple USB-connected interfaces without disconnecting and reconnecting them, currently available on macOS. Automatic updates ensure users are always running the most current version, and comprehensive screen reader support has also been designed from the ground up with visually impaired musicians.
For Windows users, Focusrite Control 2 maintains driver compatibility automatically, ensuring stable performance without any action required from the user.
