Digital Audio Denmark has announced Junior, a compact controller for the Thunder Core series of audio interfaces.
The Control Pack functionality of DAD’s DADman software provides native switching between any set of sources to output destinations – enabling an additional layer of playback redundancy and show control to all Thunder Core products. Junior provides tactile control of these Control Pack routing presets via its customisable set of RGB Led illuminated buttons, status LEDs, and character displays. The unit can be connected to any Thunder | Core device via Ethernet and deployed accordingly. Junior is supported by DADman version 5.8 and Thunder Core firmware v1.1.0.3 and onward.
“Fast and reliable control of audio production equipment is essential to the Live Entertainment market – a key demographic of our Thunder Core user base,” says DAD COO Mikael Vest. “With Junior, users now can directly access Control Pack settings with a hands-on interface, providing additional speed and control for critical situations.”
