Black Lion Audio has announced the Auteur DT single channel preamp/DI box.
The large, front panel control puts up to 60dB of Chicago console-style gain alongside a quarter-inch input, together with a rear-panel XLR mic input. The tough-as-nails brushed black aluminium chassis is bookended by vintage-style varnished maple side panels houses a robust US-made transformer combined with hand-picked Nichicon and Vishay capacitors to ensure premium sound quality, long life and low noise.
Auteur DT has been designed to exceed every expectation, with a back-lit classic-style vu meter and positive-locking LED indicator, 48V phantom power, Ø (phase reverse), pad, and Hi-Z toggle – buttons combining with that Chicago console-style gain, XLR mic input, quarter-inch Hi-Z input, and a balanced quarter-inch TRS output.
