Sonifex AVN-DIO10

Sonifex is claiming a world first with the release of the AVN-DIO10 – a 3G/HD/SD-SDI to Dante Embedder/De-Embedder in a single product solution.

AVN-DIO10A simple plug-and-play audio/video interface, the AVN-DIO10 provides a convenient and elegant method of connecting legacy 3G/HD/SD-SDI equipment to the Dante AoIP audio network. The unit takes any SDI feed, de-embeds the 16 audio channels and places them on Channels 1-16 of the Dante network, mapped using Dante Controller. It simultaneously takes the 16 input channels mapped to the device on Dante Controller and re-embeds them onto the SDI output, with an embed enable switch for each channel pair.

Interfacing is via a single 3G/HD/SD-SDI input and a reclocked output, with dual redundant primary and secondary Dante network ports on Neutrik EtherCon Ethernet connectors. Powered is provided using PoE.

The AVN-DIO10 is fully Dante compliant and AES67 compatible, uses Dante Controller for configuration and supports the full range of Dante sample rates.

The AVN-DIO10 is shipping in Q2 2020 with pre-release orders being accepted now.
