The T-Rex Binson Stereophonica is a ‘reinvention’ of the Echorec magnetic drum delay machine associated with David Gilmour, Jimmy Page and Hank Marvin.
The Binson Stereophonica delivers studio-quality vintage delay of up to 530ms. Four playback heads allow short and long delay options with a Repeat/Swell switch offering standard delay with feedback or reverb-like echoes.
The unit’s delay options are selectable via a Short/Long switch, with an adjustable drum speed of ±20%. There are four switchable playback heads, each with its own dedicated Volume and Balance controls. Stereo balanced I/O is provided for studio use, along with a dedicated instrument input and Midi I/O.
