Blaze Audio has expanded its PowerZone Connect series of multi-zone installation amplifiers with the released of the PowerZone Connect 1002, PowerZone Connect 1502, PowerZone Connect 2004 and PowerZone Connect 3004 models.
Intended for use in commercial installations such as shopping malls, auditoria, hotels and conference centres, theatres, casinos and large-scale paging and distribution systems, the amplifiers offer 1kW, 1.5kW, 2kW and 3kW in a full rack, 2U-high form factor.
Full system power and maximum channel count is achieved in Lo-Z (4Ω) operation or half channel count but double the channel power in Hi-Z operation. Hybrid output (Lo-Z + Hi-Z) is also available with a single amplifier on four-channel models.
The new amplifiers include a full matrix DSP, offering system configuration and control via Blaze Audio’s PowerZone Control browser-based web app – an intuitive application that can be used to configure and manage sound zones, inputs/outputs, firmware updates, importing loudspeaker presets and access to professional EQ settings from phone, tablet or PC regardless of whether the integrator is on- or off-site.
I/O comprises four unbalanced RCA line inputs, four balanced microphone/line inputs, four Lo-Z outputs or two Hi-Z outputs. (model depending), S/PDIF digital I/O. (amp linking), RJ45. (Network/Control Access), Wi-Fi Access, and multi-purpose GPIO. (level, standby, mute, trigger).
