APG Audio has announced the DA amplifier series, developed in partnership with Powersoft.
The DA8 and DA12 models that introduce the lineup are four-channel amplifiers with signal processing, analogue, AES3, Dante/AES67 inputs and outputs, and a bright 4.3-inch IPS touch display.
The four channels offer high power and voltage, supporting high SPL applications even with 8Ω or 16Ω loads, and are capable of delivering 4x 2kW (for the DA8) and 4x 3kW output (DA12) at 4Ω.
The amplifiers’ power supplies are been designed to operate anywhere in the world, while an internal energy storage system allows them to keep performing consistently in the event of a power drop.
The amplifiers can be controlled using a touchscreen, with functions including preset recall, gain, delay and muting. The DA8 and DA12 can also be controlled remotely using Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software.
