Stephen BrownsillBroadcast equipment manufacturer TSL Products has appointed Stephen Brownsill to the role of Audio Product Manager, reporting to Mark Davies, Director of Products and Technology.

Brownsill brings nearly 30 years of broadcast industry experience to TSL Products, having begun as an audio recording engineer. His most recent role was Solutions Architect for Production
at Grass Valley. Prior to this, he gained hands-on experience as Broadcast Operations Manager
at Fox Kids Europe (later Walt Disney Television) having joined the company to support and maintain its in-house postproduction facilities, and later managing the Broadcast Operations department. Brownsill also spent time at Williams Grand Prix Engineering
as IT and A/V Manager, managing the requirements for all corporate events such as new car
launches.
He remains a keen audio engineer and musician, and holds a PRS membership.

Brownsill’s new role covers product definition and direction for the company’s flagship audio monitoring range.

‘Stephen’s combination of audio expertise, coal-face experience and understanding of the broadcast market make him an ideal fit for this role,’ says TSL Products MD, Chris Exelby. ‘As Audio over IP continues to gain pace and momentum, his experience with IP solutions and audio systems will enable him to give our customers the advice they need as they transition to IP workflows.’
