Chris Whelan: dB Broadcast

Chris WhelanLeading UK systems integrator dB Broadcast has expanded its commercial team with the appointment of Chris Whelan as Business Development Manager.

With more than ten years’ experience in sales management roles within the broadcast industry, Whelan has worked with another UK systems integrator on a worldwide basis supporting customers in satellite newsgathering, outside broadcast, ‘blue light’, oil and gas, and marine sectors.

At dB Broadcast, Whelan is responsible for the sale of services, system projects and of the company’s products to key accounts and new clients. He will work on broadcasting projects including television and radio studios, outside broadcast vehicles and automated playout systems.

Whelan has an HNC in Business Studies, and during his career has travelled to countries including Egypt, Denmark, Finland, Indonesia, Jordan and Malaysia. He joins dB Broadcast with immediate effect.
