Since improving its online technical help desk, British mixing console manufacturer Audient has prioritised speedy, informative response to technical questions. This now involves the appointment of Daniel Mills as Technical Support Agent.
Audient’s foray in project recording with the iD22 and iD14 audio interfaces, and ASP880 mic preamp also means that Mills joins the team at a critical time. He will assist with questions from Audient owners, and brings with him a passion for sound synthesis and programming, and an appreciation for great sounding recording.
‘I loved Audient after using the ASP8024 desk and a pair of Genelec monitors during a concert at the Birmingham Conservatoire,’ he recalls. ‘I’d never heard audio sound that good before. I also love how that same sound can be squeezed into a box as small as the iD14 and ever since I got my hands on one, I’ve been playing as much music through it as I possibly can.’
Mills also dabbles in guitar playing and photography.
