Audient has named Chris Wright as its UK Market Manager promoted Andy Allen to Marketing Manager.

Building on his first-class degree in Sound Engineering & Production from Birmingham City University with freelance audio consultancy and monitor engineering experience, Wright brings a selection of transferrable skills to his new post.

‘Audient has a fantastic audio heritage, with the sale of well over 500 ASP8024 consoles over the past 17 years being a solid testament to that,’ he says. ‘The latest products maintain that outstanding build and sound quality. I look forward to building relationships with UK customers old and new, and helping them discover what Audient has to offer.’

Allen’s promotion within the company follows a strong period of growth: ‘These new staff appointments coincide with increased investment in product development,’ he says. ‘Audient’s new generation of compact products, with the iD22 USB interface and the ASP880 mic preamp/ADC, embraces innovation, heralds new and exciting times for the company.’

Gareth Williams and Luke Baldry have both moved on to pastures new.
