Rycote Sales & Marketing Director Stefano Pucello is to leave the UK-based manufacturer of microphone windshields and suspension systems.
Pucellojoined Rycote in January 2010, serving first as Sales & Marketing Manager and then as S&M Director since 2011.
‘It's important to leave a company on a high note, having achieved what you came on board to accomplish, and Rycote has expanded enormously into new markets during the time I've been here,’ he says. ‘I have made a lot of friends at Rycote here in the UK and with their representatives overseas, and I wish everyone the best for the future. After a short break, I will begin looking for a new professional challenge.’
In the interim, the Rycote sales team will be headed by MD and co-owner, Simon Davies.’
‘Stefano has been a key member of the Rycote team for over three and a half years, working hard to maintain and develop our reputation internationally during a time of great change, and we will all miss him,’ Davies says. ‘He's helped us launch the Universal Camera Kit and the USM internationally to the DSLR and pro audio markets, together with their many spinoffs. We are grateful to him, and hope he enjoys his well-deserved time off.’
