Shure Distribution UK (SDUK) has appointed live sound and installed audio expert John Ellis as Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting the Installed Sound business at Shure Distribution.
Ellis’ experience includes live and touring sound, system design, installation practices, audiovisual and public address systems, and he has held technical sales consultancy and management roles for TOA, Turbosound, and in recent years developing Electro-Voice and Dynacord with Bosch ProSound UK in installation and audiovisual markets.
‘SDUK is a renowned company with an impressive portfolio of installation and broadcast products, that are innovative and held in high esteem,’ he says. ‘I’m particularly looking forward to working with consultants and installers on projects using the QSC Q-Sys networked audio system which has amazing flexibility, expandability, is very versatile and simply sits on a network.
