Eventide Audio has appointed Russell Wedelich as President, in addition to his current role as CTO. Wedelich, who has been instrumental in developing some of Eventide’s most celebrated products over the past 17-plus years, will lead operations for the audio business.

Eventide MD Tony Agnello and founder Richard Factor announced Wedelich’s appointment, commenting: ‘We’re both proud and grateful to pass the presidential baton to Russell. Richard and I are confident in his ability to steer the Good Ship Eventide long into our shared future.’

Russell WedelichIn his new role, Wedelich will oversee all aspects of Eventide Audio’s business while continuing to guide the company’s technical direction. During his tenure at Eventide, he has played a key part in the development of products including the H90 and H9000 Harmonizer, and the SplitEQ plug-in, as well as collaborating on 2024’s Knife Drop pedal with Third Man Hardware.

‘From the day I set foot into this magical factory of sound and engineering, I’ve shared an obsession with the same curiosity, artistry and innovation that began with Richard and Tony in the studio basement and has changed the course of music history,’ he says. ‘Over the years, I’ve seen these values iterated throughout the code, the hardware, the products and, most importantly, the people who’ve worked here.
