Audinate Group has appointed TJ Adams to the newly-created position of Chief Platform Officer, operating from the United States and reporting to Chief Strategy Officer Nick Peace.
Building on an established foundation of Dante-enabled devices in the field, Adams new role will see him work to towards an interoperable audio, video, control and management platform. He will lead Audinate’s initiatives to deliver cohesive platform software, products and service offerings for designers, integrators and users of A/V systems across a wide spectrum of markets and applications.

Prior to joining Audinate, Adams held product management and engineering roles at SITA, where he and pioneering developers created first-generation software and networked-based A/V products. These solutions were architected as enterprise IT software platforms, leveraging airport operational data and networked audio, video, and control processing. Later in his career, he held senior roles in product management at Biamp Systems. He joined QSC in 2013 and was the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Management for Q-Sys, where he joined the founding developers and created the long-term vision and roadmap for the Q-Sys platform and ecosystem.
His professional background is in audio and video system engineering, network engineering and product management with expertise in market-driven product and technology strategy and product lifecycle management. With a deep background in A/V and IT system design, software integration, and network engineering, TJ has a track record of successfully leading projects including A/V and IT integration for airports, convention centres and enterprise audio conferencing systems.
