Vicente Rios Silvestre is the latest addition to HK Audio’s support team, brought onboard as the go-to contact for the manufacturer’s Spanish-speaking customers.
Silvestre is an experienced FOH engineer, tour manager and producer. His journey into the audio industry began with the pulse of the tambores panameños and the pleasure of seeing rhythm bring people together. From experimenting in his home studio in Panama to earning a Sound Engineering degree at DuocUC in Santiago, Chile, he has spent the past 23 years with sound and helping artists tell their stories through music.
Over the course his career, Silvestre has worked with a variety of musical icons. His credits include touring with legends like Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, Brian Blade and Gilberto Santa Rosa. He has also collaborated with orchestras from London to Wrocław, and produced award-winning tracks like ‘Viene de Panamá,’ a Latin Grammy nominee and Viña del Mar winner.
As a native Spanish speaker with roots in the Latin American music scene, Silvestre will bring hands-on expertise to every enounter. His new role will see him provide technical training to customers on the use and configuration of HK Audio line arrays and concert sound systems. He will also support customers during installations, both remotely and on-site to ensure the optimal performance of their system.
‘I’m looking forward to helping to support our customers through any challenges they have and ensuring that their HK Audio systems always sound as good as they can,’ he says.
‘Having someone with Vicente’s skills and experience join our team is a real benefit for HK Audio and our users,’ says HK Audio CSO and CMO, Christian Jordan. ‘I’m delighted to welcome him into the HK Audio family, and I know he will be an important part of our ongoing expansion and success, especially in Spanish speaking regions.’
