Leading Australian distributor of professional audio and PA equipment Group Technologies has welcomed David Haberfeld as new Marketing Specialist.

A senior music technologist and audio professional, Haberfeld has been engaged with major global brands for more than 30 years, working both in higher education and serving as editor-in-chief for Noisegate, the Australia-based collective of musicians, producers, DJs and live audio professionals sharing music gear news, tutorials and interviews.

As live artist Honeysmack, Haberfeld has earned a reputation within both the local and global electronic dance music community. His music highlights include being an ARIA final nominee for Best Dance Music Release in 1999, sharing writing credits with Grammy and Academy awarded songwriter Burt Bacharach, and live electronic performances at major music events across Australia.
