Symetrix Inc has recruited Jim Newhouse, a veteran of the professional audio industry, to take on the role of Director of International Sales – a new position at the company’s headquarters in the greater Seattle area.

‘Jim brings a wealth of experience to the table, and will be building out a team specific to our partners outside North America,’ says Ty Hawley, Director of Sales & Marketing. ‘In collaboration with our network of distributors and certified resellers, he will help strengthen the Symetrix brand, position our products, and drive growth.’

Newhouse’s career in professional A/V began with a warehouse role 30 years ago before he eventually launched his own installation business. More Recently, he developed sales teams for a global loudspeaker manufacturer.
