Music and audio industry veteran, and music education specialist Dr Lee Whitmore has joined the Focusrite Group as Vice President for Education, Americas.
Whitmore’s career most recently includes six years in Boston, Massachussets, as Berklee’s Vice President for education outreach and social entrepreneurship, and then as the inaugural executive director for the Grammy Music Education Coalition.
He joins Focusrite Group with more than 30 years of product, sales, marketing and leadership experience, including time at Avid and Sibelius, and Korg USA.
Whitmore will apply his rich career experience and broad relationships in education to a new role, Focusrite Group’s VP for Education, Americas. His remit is to further develop the the group’s market position, featuring cross-brand solutions for Focusrite, Focusrite Pro, Novation, Adam Audio, Ampify Music and Martin Audio together in education.
