Rune Jacobsen: Merging Technologies

Rune Jacobsen has been appointed International Sales Manager at Merging Technologies.

Rune JacobsenWhile experience of both pro audio and high-end hi-fi is unusual, Jacobsen has just that. In his university days he undertook projects focusing on the local Danish audio industry. Starting in hi-fi with Pathos in Italy, he moved to the TC Group in 2005 during which time there was a shift to MI sales from the traditional studio and broadcast range. He moved back into the consumer world from 2014-2017 and then joined Dynaudio to handle the transition to take all activities in-house and re-establish a new distributor network. In addition, he played a major role in implementing pro sales from regional offices in Shanghai, Skanderborg and Chicago.

Along the way, Jacobsen found the time to gain two international business Masters Degrees. Both are highly relevant to working at Merging – one focused on the growth and strategy of SMEs and the other in wine marketing.
