Symetrix has appointed Benjamin Olswang to the post of Director of Product Management, responsible for managing products through their lifecycle.

Benjamin OlswangWith more than19 years’ experience in the professional audio industry, including 11 years in product management and four in engineering programme management, Olswang has led teams and delivered products that combine hardware, firmware and software with user experiences. Most recently, he was a product management consultant assisting companies in the creation of user-focused audio products. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and a MSc in Digital Signal Processing from Kings College London.

‘I see myself as a hub connected to the different spokes of the rest of the company,’ he says. ’I’m a resource for anyone with product questions, whether it’s about a new or existing product. As one of the key voices for the customer inside the company, I’m always looking to solve a user’s problems in helpful ways.’
