NST Audio has announced the VMO16 16-in 16-out audio installation processor, bringing its expertise in live sound filters and dynamics algorithms gained on concert tours and large festivals to Dante networked audio installations.

NST Audio VMO16 Dante network processorThe VMO16 is an install-dedicated rackmount processor providing 16 discrete inputs, and a full 16x16 matrix which allows any Dante network inputs to be routed to any of the 16 analogue outputs. All outputs are equipped with 16 bands of parametric EQ, 48dB/octave high pass and low pass filters, and up to 1.3s of delay. In addition, high performance two-stage PXL limiters are incorporated to give high performance loudspeaker protection.

The VMO16 is robustly housed in a 1U-high 19-inch lightweight rackmount chassis using a smoothly radiused, machined aluminium front panel, providing sectioned windows distinctively grouped into four banks of  channel status indicators, and a master section containing Dante connectivity status and power indicator.

Industry-standard Phoenix-type 3-pin 5.08mm pitch connectors are provided on the VMO16 rear panel for all analogue connections, while the four GPI connections allow configurable actions such as fire alarm mutes and preset recalls. Up to 30 presets can be stored with recall options allowing selective recall combinations of input, matrix and output sections.
