Designed for speed and clarity, Arturia’s Bus Transient is a professional transient shaper that combines multi-band controls with real-time visual feedback assist refining instruments, shaping drums, tightening one-shots and enhancing a mix bus.

Arturia Bus Transient‘For producers and mixing engineers looking to refine their dynamics with precision and clarity, Bus Transient is the go-to transient shaper,’ the company says. ‘It is perfect for percussive and plucked instruments, as well as full bus mixes. It brings instant definition and dynamic control without the complexity of traditional compression.’

Bus Transient can be used to push transient and body gain, adjust bands and adjust clipping for soft harmonic distortion.

Fine-tuned attack and body controls give precise, instant punch and weight, with multi-band precision. It can accentuate a snare, tighten boomy bass or add some body to a thin-sounding instrument. The built-in soft/hard clipper manages peaks and adds character to keep a source loud without introducing harshness, and adding warmth and saturation when driven.

A streamlined interface and real-time visual feedback eliminate ‘menu-diving’ and guesswork, as every control is designed with an immediate production flow in mind.

Transient Section offers control over boost or reduction of attack, allowing users to set attack length. The Body Section can boost or reduce sustain, with users able to set sustain timing. The Visualizer shows shaping applied in real time.

Other control parameters include Full Band or Multiband operation with tilt filters, Sensitivity to focus shaping on strong hits or capture subtle details, Tone Control for brightening or darkening transients and body, and a Mix Control to blend processed and dry signals.
