German Madi specialist, DirectOut Technologies has released remote software for its Madi analyser and signal generator, Anna-Lisa.

Anna-Lisa RemoteAnna-Lisa is a handheld device that checks for AES10 conformity, sample rate, format, signal amplitude and jitter in all MADI formats using traffic light-style LED Go/No Go indication. It sports two Madi I/O ports; a coaxial BNC port and an SFP cage for single mode or multimode transceivers. The onboard generator has three presets for different test signals.

The new remote software is available as an app for Android devices connected via Bluetooth, offers an enhanced feature set. Functions include advanced analysis of signal parameters including amplitude and jitter measurement; monitoring of AES3 channel state; bit scope for monitoring audio and subframe data; 128 channel level meter and output gain adjustment; and finally, a channel-based routing matrix for both Madi ports and all signal generator presets.

‘Our only regret is that we weren’t able to bring it the remote option out sooner, but our users agree that the more comprehensive analysis tools provided by the software were worth the wait,’ says DirectOut MD Stephan Flock

The app is downloadable from the DirectOut website abd the Google Play store. AniOS version is under development.
