Following the release of the DAWsync plug-in for the DFC3D mixing console, AMS Neve has a announced dedicated DAWsync Control Panel, USB 9-pin interfaces and v2 of the DAWsync plug-in.
DAWsync provides an ‘elegant and simple’ solution for machine control integration with Pro Tools via an AAX plug-in, and other DAWs with VST and AU plug-ins.
The DAWsync plug-in provides instant lock from the DAW’s timeline to the DFC3D automation so that audio, video, and console automation instantly roll together without delay or synchronisation set-ups. DAWsync also provides a virtual 9-pin interface for transport commands; implementation supports extended track arming, and PEC/Direct switching for three recorder DAWs from the DFC3D.
The DAWsync plug-in is available to all DFC3D users and connects to the DFC3D via Ethernet.
