Alfatron Electronics has released the ALFC-657D full-range Dante ceiling loudspeaker for use in distributed sound reinforcement applications.

Sold in pairs as one Master speaker (ALFC-657-DM ) with a built-in 2x 30W PoE (Power over Ethernet) amplifier with a two-channel Dante Input, and one Slave speaker (ALFC-657-DS), with a Phoenix input, the units are flush-mounted to blend aesthetically into a wide range of environments.

ALFC-657D full-range Dante ceiling loudspeakerThe Master provides an amplified speaker output to drive the Slave. Each pair of loudspeakers is powered via the network POE switch. The design employs a 6.5-inch driver and a coaxially mounted 1-inch silk dome tweeter. The woofer features a moisture/water-proof composite diaphragm. ALFC-657D ceiling speakers feature a wide, flat frequency response from 65Hz to 20kHz, with a maximum SPL capability of 111dB.
