Following the GH4 loudspeaker, the KGear GH8 is a high-performance, ultra-compact point source element that claims ‘exceptional sound quality and coverage in a compact and versatile package’.

KGear GH8Employing an 8-inch, full-range driver with a dual-cone, GH8 is capable of 129dB SPL from a single box. Slim Array Technology (SAT) allows the GH8 to offer a balance of design and performance. When multiple GH8 units are joined to form a longer array, Pure Array Technology (PAT) comes into play, enhancing linearity and sound directionality. This allows sound to be precisely direct where needed, and unwanted spill to be minimised. The cardioid pattern means that each set-up can be optimised for the best sound dispersion and what the manufacturer terms ‘tailored audio experiences’.

Durably crafted from sleek stainless steel and carrying an IP64 rating, the GH8 is built to last, while also making a statement in any outdoor environment.

Key features:

  • 8-inch ferrite magnet dual-cone driver.
  • 120Hz-18kHz (-6dB) frequency response.
  • 129dB (peak) SPL.
  • 300W rated power.
  • 16Ω nominal impedance:
  •  90° x 90° coverage.
  • Phoenix connector with speaker relaunch (4-pin euroblock).
  • Two SpeakOn NL4 –1+ 1- (signal); 2+ 2- (through).

‘Crafted to complement the GH family, the GH8 bridges the successful GH4 and the powerful GH12,’ the company says. ‘Its groundbreaking performance sets a new standard in KGear's audio excellence.’
