Heil Sound has announced its Pro Set 3 headphones, designed for touring pros, musicians, and broadcast/recording studios – its first headphone release.
The Pro Set 3 delivers a 10Hz-22kHz frequency response using high-quality 40mm neodymium magnets and voice coils. The lightweight ergonomically designed cushioned headband, and a detachable cable design. The headphones ship with three cables for connection to a wide assortment of outputs.
Although his is the first professional headphone from from Heil Sound, the comapny has built headsets for the amateur/ham radio market for decades. ‘The Pro Set 3 was developed in response to the many requests by professionals in the trenches who want the same no-nonsense, high-quality product found in our large diaphragm dynamic microphones,’ company founder, Bob Heil, explains. ‘These headphones bring exceptional articulation and clarity with extended frequency response and high SPL handling capability.’
The Pro Set 3 is available now through Heil Sound dealers and has a US MSRP of US$109.
