Sound control solutions specialist Auralex Acoustics has announced the SonoFlat Grid panel.

A new take on its established SonoFlat, each SonoFlat Grid measures 2-ft x 2-ft x 2-inch, and is composed of nine 8-inch x 8-inch bevelled squares. Made from Auralex’ proprietary Studiofoam, these panels offer the same mid- and high-frequency absorption as the original SonoFlat panels, as well as a look that is suited to both studio or home theatre.

‘The SonoFlat Grid was developed out of our clients’ desires to have a price-conscious foam solution with a completely unique, modern appeal aesthetically,’ says Mike Buratto, Acoustical Engineer at Auralex Acoustics. ‘We were able to achieve this with improved low-frequency performance over our more classic Studiofoam cuts.’

The panels are available in charcoal coloring and are made from Auralex’ melamine-free formula, which won’t crumble with age.
