Audiofocus has announced two fixed installation loudspeakers in its medium-throw ARRoCC constant curvature system – the wide coverage CC210Wix and narrow dispersion CC210Nix.
These latest additions to the ARRoCC series use a minimal rigging system and concealing plates to achieve a clean, understated appearance suited to installation in live venues, theatres, clubs, sports stadia and houses of worship.
The CC210Wix and CC210Nix employ the same paired 10-inch LF transducers with Tetracoil double voice coil technology that form the foundation of the ARRoCC, Eliz and Edge ranges. A large 4-inch titanium diaphragm HF compression driver allows a lower crosspoint, resulting in better dispersion and control down to lower frequencies. Both cabinets achieve a frequency response of 55Hz–19kHz, with the wide and narrow versions attaining a peak SPL of 133dB and 135dB respectively.
‘ARRoCC excels in mid-sized venues where a line array adds too much cost and complexity, while a point source system may not deliver the SPL and coverage they need,’ says Audiofocus CEO and founder, Ann Leroy. ‘For these dedicated fixed installation models, we have designed a visually discreet, flexible rigging system, giving integrators plenty of configuration options without impacting the venue’s aesthetics.’
The new loudspeakers are supported by the 118SG ground stacked 18-inch subwoofer and A series rack amplifiers. CC210Wix and CC210Nix are built in birch plywood at Audiofocus’ Belgium HQ.
