Powered by Waves’ Nx technology, the plug-in emulates the natural depth, natural reflections and panoramic stereo image heard from speakers in an actual, physical, room., combining the advantages of headphones – portability, affordability and privacy – with the acoustic benefits of a professional mixing facility.

Waves Nx bridges the gap between monitoring on speakers and monitoring on headphones, eliminating the differences between mixes made on headphones and on speakers, Waves Nx puts an end to constant cross-referencing between the two. Waves Nx also aims to make the headphone experience comfortable and ear-friendly over long periods of time.

Waves Nx can be used with real-time head tracking, taking advantage of a computer’s camera or the Waves Head Tracker unit to create movement in the Virtual Mix Room.
