NTP Technology’s DAD AX24 192 PHD is a new version of the AX24 eight-channel high-quality AD/DA audio converter, offering an interface card connecting directly to Avid’s Pro Tools digital audio workstation. The unit supports 44.1kHz to 192kHz sampling rates, and an optional microphone preamplifier is also available

The AX24 192 PHD is available in configurations with eight analogue inputs or eight analogue outputs, or both. It is operated via the DADman control application, which runs on Apple Mac OS-X and Microsoft Windows. The DADman application is capable of handling 128 channels and can be automated from Pro Tools emulating the Avid Pro Tools PRE or via EuCon for operation from the Euphonix MC-Pro and 5-MC hardware controllers.
