Renkus-Heinz has introduced Iconyx Gen5, integrating its advanced beam steering algorithms and Rhaon II System Designer software control.

Presented as part of the company’s Iconyx and IC Live Install series products, Gen5 incorporates new UniBeam Technology for more uniform coverage, increased output, and faster set-up and deployment. Unlike point-source loudspeakers, where achieving optimal coverage is a trade-off between distance and accuracy, UniBeam makes it possible to achieve ‘Half Horn’ coverage, using digital beam steering to shape the coverage pattern.

Gen5 also offers new configurations for easier and more cost -effective installation, including new Master and Slave modules, as well as the new IC16-8-RN hybrid column, designed to extend length and LF beam control while using a single, economical eight-channel amplifier.

Renkus-Heinz has also announced redesigned Rhaon II networking software, offering a device-centric UI, streamlined workflow and a claimed increase in operation of 200 per cent. Rhaon II System Manager has been redesigned using highly structured modular code for stability and expandability. The result is a new, more robust Rhaon technology – faster, more reliable, with a streamlined, intuitive workflow. Rhaon II is easy to program, easy to use, and fully compatible with both Gen5 and legacy Renkus-Heinz products.
