In response to the abuse suffered by by microphone cables in the course of live events, cable manufacturer Sommer Cable has developed a rugged microphone cable, tailor-made for use on stage.

A pair of conductors with thin 0.34 mm² copper litz wires are braided with several Kevlar strain relief elements and jacketed with a TPE SP moulded sheath (Ø 7.3mm).

The screen is braided, and made with aluminised fleece and tinned copper mesh at a motion-optimised angle so that the cable reels easily on a drum for mobile applications. The Club Series Tempoflex withstands temperatures between –20°C and +110°C.
